Although I listen to a lot of live music and appreciate it, I don't pretend to understand it and I continue to be amazed by it. Tonight we listen to Brad Sayre who is one of the best solo performers I have ever heard. With two different acoustic guitars and a simulator he played and sang incredible classic rock tunes including Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven, and other favorites from Cream, Van Halen. Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Green Day, Neil Young etc. He took other classics and played them like I've never heard them before including Gershwin's song Summertime from the musical Porgy and Bess. Think of the original version being performed by Eric Clapton and his classic rock band Cream. This guy is one great showman an incredible guitar player/ vocalist and a crowd pleaser. We just happened to stumble on him. Fun Night. Thanks Brad!

Hi Brad, I so enjoy your performances at Gnarly's when I am able to be there. I especially like how you connect so closely with your audience. Your love for music is quite apparent. Thank you.

Brad, you are that rare combination of sheer talent, passion and generosity of spirit that makes you a shining star! I came to see you last night based, quite frankly, on your impressive resume & what I heard on your website. It was clear rather quickly that you are SO much more than that. Your connection with the crowd was palpable and it was obvious that you were feeding off of their energy as much as they were feeding off of yours. You seem to intuitively understand what the audience wants and l gives it to them, without compromising your own artistic integrity. You told me I had "a good ear". If that's true, you're hands down the best I've heard in a long time. Thanks for an inspired performance (Kashmir? Holy shit!). Looking forward to hearing (and feeling) you again soon. Rock on!

On vacation in New Smyrna Beach, my hubby and I were dining at Gnarly Surf Bar on Flagler Avenue when we first heard Brad Sayre perform and we were totally enthralled with his entire performance! Not only does he perform the music of the greats, but he also shares tidbits about the music and the musicians he's crossed paths with. With a strong, clear voice that's well suited to Southern rock, a rare talent for playing rock guitar, and dynamite stage presence, Brad Sayre is a one-man show not to be missed!

Brad Sayre is an amazing guitarist, singer and songwriter. As others have said, you would normally pay for talent like this and have to buy tickets for a concert in a huge concert hall just to see him. I met Brad a few months ago and just couldn't get enough of his music, it's that good. His guitar talent is as good as all of the greatest guitarists of all time. He plays Jimmy Hendrix, Robin Trower, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Eddie Van Halen, Carlos Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Neil Young and Johnny Winter, just to name a few. Wait until you hear his voice too. He can sing as well as he can play guitar. Listen to him belt out songs from Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant and "When a man loves a woman by Percy Sledge !! But my favorites are still his originals. Ask him to play Anno Domini !!! It's 8 minutes of incredible guitar filled music with passion in 3 movements. It ought to end a fantastic concert. And then tip him well. He deserves it. He a very friendly guy also. Most musicians of this incredible talent have an attitude problem and are full of themselves. But not Brad. He takes time to talk to you. Buy his CD that he displays with him at each concert. It's all instrumental great music. Go see Brad somewhere while he's here locally and enjoy the concert. Once you hear him, you'll want to tell your friends to go see him. I sure did.
